Peace Tree Farm

I don't want to make the change, but...

I’ll soon be altering the sidebar, changing the “2006 Endorsements” section to a “2006 Winners” or “Congratulations to...” display.  Would have done it awhile ago, except that we still had an open race that was too close to call.  Sadly, it appears that that race is about to reach a decision.  I’ll be heading off soon to the Eastside, where Darcy Burner will probably acknowledge that she wasn’t quite able to defeat the empty suit representing WA-08.

So the sidebar changes will be made soon.  But that’s one particular change I really, really, really wish I wasn’t going to make.  Darcy is one hell of a candidate, and she would have been one hell of a member of Congress.  I hope she’ll continue to be very visible, very active, very committed.  She still has a bright future if she wants it, even if it’ll be slightly delayed.

It’s the Eighth Congressional District of Washington’s loss.

Thank you very much for your blog. You do good work. I certainly would understand if Darcy never wanted to run for anything again, although I hope she does. Perhaps in two years she will be there for the retirement of the current sock puppet.

Imagine what it must be like to be Reichert: A sock puppet for a sock puppet.
