Does anything more need to be said about Barack Obama’s acceptance speech? I have no particular reason to embed the video here—after all, it’s available anywhere and everywhere by now—but I simply can’t resist.
Because ... well, because Yes, I Can.
Not just beautiful high-flown rhetoric delivered in extraordinary style by a masterful orator, but the outline of a proudly progressive viewpoint on our future, and a powerful and direct challenge to the crippling deceits of Bush and McBush.
This, my friends, is the Real Deal.
