New feature

I’m still here, even if I haven’t posted in a while.

If you’re a regular visitor, you may notice some design tweaks and changes in the sidebar.  In addition to trimming the contents of my blogroll and musician list, and resizing and revising the “Activism” section, I’ve added the snazzy NWP Topic Hotlist.  It’s a compendium of links to recent posts on a group of Pacific Northwest progressive blogs, organized by topic keywords.  As topics of broad impact change from hour to hour and day to day, so too will the hotlist headings.

The script for the NWP Topic Hotlist was written and made available by Daniel Kirkdorffer, proprietor of local blog On The Road To 2008 (newly added to my blogroll).  Thanks, Daniel!  And “NWP” refers to the Pacific Northwest Portal, Andrew Villeneuve’s invaluable aggregator of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho progressive blogs.

I’m not fully satisfied with the appearance of the hotlist, but I’d rather put it up as is and revise it later.  I’d like to make its typeface a wee bit smaller, and possibly put in borders of some sort to help set it off from the rest of the sidebar.  But that’s a project for later.  In the meantime, I’m working up to some actual blog content in the near future.

No, really… Blog content coming soon.
